Good Morning Bridge Middle School Families!
Here are some things to know before we head into our winter vacation:
Winter vacation begins tomorrow. Students are back in (virtual) school on Monday, January 4. We look forward to seeing them logged on to their first period class promptly at 7:45! Enjoy your holiday!
Wednesday, January 6, there is NO SCHOOL for Three Kings Day.
We still have no date for our return to in-person school. We will let you know as soon as Bridgeport Public Schools makes a decision.
BOOK CLUB/SOCIAL JUSTICE DISCUSSION 1/11 from 6:00 to 7:00
Our Book Club meeting was originally scheduled for Monday, January 4.
We have now changed that date to Monday, January 11, in order to accommodate a special guest. That evening we will have a representative from the group Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) join us for our discussion. EJI is the group founded by Bryan Stevenson, the author of Just Mercy.
Whether you have read the book or not, we invite our whole community to attend this virtual meeting in order to discuss important social justice issues affecting our community and nation. An invitation for the meeting will be sent the week we get back from break.
Stop by Bridge the week after break anytime between the hours of 8:00 and 4:00 if you would like a free copy of the book Just Mercy.
Have a great holiday and a Happy New Year!
