Hello Bridge Families!

Please read the important news and information carefully:

  • WE VALUE YOUR INPUT!

We learned a lot at our last community meeting when a presenter from the Equal Justice Initiative talked to us about the great work his organization is doing (check EJI out here: https://eji.org/).

We would love to know what community meeting topics you would like us to offer in the future.

Please take three to five minutes to fill out this Family Interest Survey:  https://forms.gle/LrGfW4PQZjaAs2aK6

Thank you in advance!

  • WEDNESDAYS: IMPORTANT CHANGE IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL

We had 100% participation on the NWEA MAP Math test last Wednesday!  Nice job!

You will be receiving a report on your child’s progress on this assessment in reading and math with their report cards next week.

We are back to our regular Wednesday schedule this coming Wednesday, February 10.

In order to improve both attendance and learning on Wednesdays, ALL STUDENTS MUST LOG INTO THEIR FIRST PERIOD CLASS AT 7:45 ON WEDNESDAYS

from now on.  Teachers will take attendance and remind students of their assigned tasks for the day.

We look forward to seeing all students online at 7:45 this Wednesday!

  • FREE ONLINE PARENT COMPUTER CLASS

Our next online computer class session begins this Tuesday, February 9, and runs from 6:00 to 7:00 every Tuesday until March 23.

If you would like to increase your knowledge of everything the Google Suite has to offer, join us!  Respond to this email if you would like to register.

All participants receive a free chromebook!

  • FREE SWIM LESSONS

Our next six week swim lesson session begins on Saturday, February 13.  The half hour lessons are held at the Cardinal Shehan Center from 11:00 to 11:30 and 11:30 to 12:00. All family members are welcome!

If you or any of your family members are interested in taking lessons, or if your family members are already taking lessons and you would like to continue into the next session, please respond to this email.

  • REMINDER: POSITIVE BRIDGE ACADEMY POSTS

We are working on creating a positive online presence for our school through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram; our goal is to put a spotlight on all of the wonderful things our students and staff are doing.

These posts will include such things as pictures of students in after school activities, lists of students who have earned honors and perfect attendance, notices about college acceptances, etc.

Please complete this brief survey to let us know if you are comfortable with us sharing your child’s picture and/or name on our social media platforms (students who are 18 years old or older may complete the form themselves):
