Bridge Academy offers Health and Physical Education from 7th-10th Grade. The classes main goal is for students to learn healthy activities that they can participate in for the rest of their lives and build the skills and knowledge to make healthy and smart choices now and as they grow up.
Bridge Academy students are taught various lifetime activities such as Fitness. They learn exercises that works on their muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. They also learn exercises that they can do with no equipment and only using their own body weight.
In Health class students learn how to improve not only their physical health through exercise and proper nutrition, but also their mental health. Here at the Bridge Academy we work on helping students build their social emotional skills and to become a more well rounded and empathetic person.
