Distance Learning Class Schedule: Middle School

Monday: Math and Science assignments

Tuesday: ELA and Social Studies assignments

Wednesday: Math and Art assignments

Thursday: ELA and Social Studies assignments

Friday: Catch Up Day

This schedule means that on Mondays, students will be given one Math and one Science assignment on google classroom, both of which will be due that same day. Then on Tuesdays, students will be given one English and one Social Studies assignment on google classroom, both of which will be due that same day, and so on through the week. No new assignments will be given on Fridays, which is now a designated catch-up day.

Assignments will be posted on google classroom at 8:00 AM every morning on each class’s designated day. Students may work on that day’s assignments throughout the day but will need to submit the assignment by the time it is due that day (teachers let students know the time the assignment is due; if an assignment is due at 5:00 PM, students may turn it in anytime up until 5:00 PM).

Please Note: With fewer assignments being given, each assignment counts more toward final grades. For this reason, it is very important that students complete and turn in every assignment!

We have also created an Office Hours schedule that matches the new class schedule, with teachers offering virtual assistance on the same days that their classes are being held. Teachers will invite students to a “google meets” on the designated days and times. Going to these meetings will be voluntary for students, though some teachers offer extra credit for joining, and students who have questions about assignments should definitely attend. The schedule of Office Hours can be found in the next tab.
